QuickHowTo Uploader ยท Last updated: October 15, 2026

QuickHowTo Uploader ("the tool") uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Who uses the tool

The tool is a personal, non-public application used only by its owner to upload videos to the owner's own YouTube channel.

Information accessed

When the owner signs in with Google, the tool requests three permissions, all for the owner's own channel only:

The tool does not access information about any other user, channel or video, and it never modifies or deletes anything on the channel except by uploading new videos.

How information is used

Uploads are made with the title, description and tags the owner prepared. The statistics are used only by the owner, to see which tutorials perform best and to choose topics and wording for future videos.

Storage and retention

The OAuth tokens and the statistics file are stored only on the owner's own computer, in local files. No data is sent to or stored on any server operated by the tool. The statistics are refreshed daily and replaced each time. Deleting the local files, or revoking access (see below), removes all stored data. Uploaded videos are stored by YouTube.

Sharing

The tool does not share, sell or transfer any information to third parties.

Cookies and tracking

The tool does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking. This website does not use cookies either.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page. Deleting the local token file also removes the tool's access from the computer.
